OLYMPUS, TEXAS

Hog hunts and heartbreak. Texas skies and treacherous lies. Cattle vets and fatal bets. It’s all here in this addictive novel with Greek mythological roots that takes dysfunctional family drama to a whole new level!

Welcome to Olympus, Texas, where you’ll find the Briscoe family, whose infidelities, secrets and betrayals are a way of life. When March, the exiled family outcast - with good reason - comes back to town, his return sets off an explosive turn of events that will change them all forever.

I couldn’t put down this scandal-filled novel about a badly behaved clan who, despite their love, can’t stop hurting one another if they tried. (Spoiler: They don’t try that hard.) These characters test the limits of loyalty and split each other’s hearts open but never give up on each other. Grab yourself some fried catfish and buckle up for this entertaining, perfect-for-summer debut.

Who’s up for an Olympus-inspired Memorial Day barbecue? This lunch is straight out of June Briscoe’s kitchen - and by the way what is going on in that fridge? So many leftovers all the time and everyone constantly helping themself to brisket and chicken! But since I’m not a Briscoe I’ll tell you the truth: I went to the butcher intending to make it all from scratch but was tempted by a semi prepared version.
